Real Voices.
Real experiences.
No Debates.
What Happens When We Actually Listen?
TheRACEProject™ is a public-facing initiative dedicated to creating space for honest, uninterrupted conversationsabout race as people experience it. In a time when discussions about race are often reduced to arguments, soundbites, or ideological battles, let’s come back to Earth and ask a simpler — more powerful — question:
What happens when we actually listen?
This work centers real voices, not debates. Participants are invited to speak without interruption, without rebuttal, and without the pressure to persuade. By shifting the focus from winning arguments to understanding lived experience, TheRACEProject™ offers a different model for engaging race — one grounded in curiosity, care, and accountability.
Through filmed interviews on an open-access digital platform, this work aims to build a growing archive of perspectives that reflect the complexity of our shared social world.
This project is not about telling people what to think. It’s about creating the conditions for deeper understanding to emerge.
Listening is not passive — it is an active, ethical practice. And in a society increasingly shaped by polarization and misinformation, the ability to listen may be one of the most vital tools we have.
